Are you a school leaver or someone looking to gain real hands-on experience with horses? We’re always looking for motivated and reliable people to join our team. The role includes helping with exercising, feeding out, assisting during lessons, and supporting with young or green breakers.

I have years of experience training wild horses, competing, and preparing horses for competition, and I’m passionate about passing that knowledge on.

In return for your help, I offer free riding lessons and the chance to learn practical horsemanship in a supportive environment. You’ll build confidence, improve your skills, and gain real-life horse-handling experience.

We do ask that applicants are 15 years or older (14 with parental consent). You’ll need to be confident around horses, reliable, and physically able to manage farm jobs. For exercising horses, you should already be able to walk, trot, and canter safely in control. Correct riding boots are required, but helmets can be supplied if needed.

This is an unpaid position, but the lessons and experience are invaluable if you’re serious about horses.

📍 Located in Kerikeri
🕒 1–2 hours Monday to Friday (flexible times)
👩 Fully supervised — you’ll be working directly with me the whole time
