Meet Enzo

Enzo is a spirited and charming horse with a heart as big as his personality. Known for his gentle nature and intelligence, he’s a favourite among riders of all levels. Whether in the arena, out on the trails, or competing in events, Enzo is always ready to give his best, making every ride a memorable experience.

Fun Fact: Enzo loves treats after a job well done and has a soft spot for pats and scratches on his neck!

Meet Wanda

Wanda is a talented and courageous horse, excelling in both eventing and show jumping. With her natural athleticism and sharp mind, she thrives on challenges in the arena and loves learning new skills. Wanda is a reliable and spirited partner, always giving her best whether in training or competition. Her dedication and energy make her a favourite among riders who enjoy testing their abilities and growing alongside a capable, confident horse.

Fun Fact: Wanda has a keen eye for obstacles and loves a good challenge, she’ll often find a creative way to tackle jumps and courses, showing off her clever and adventurous personality!

Meet Fiona

Fiona is a remarkable Northland-bred bush pony with a story as inspiring as her spirit. Trained from the wild, she’s still in the process of being fully broken in and will soon become one of our lesson horses. When I mustered her, we were both expecting, and she also had a foal at foot. Sadly, she lost her pregnancy, but her resilience and gentle nature shine through every day. Fiona is curious, adventurous, and ready to learn, making her a horse to watch as she continues her training.

Fun Fact: Fiona loves going on adventures and has a playful streak that shows her brave and spirited personality.

Meet Valhalla

Val, is our exciting young warmblood and a true rising star. At just 2 years old, he already stands over 16hh, showing off his impressive size and presence. With his athletic build, curious mind, and natural movement, Val has all the qualities of a future eventing champion.

Unlike some of our other horses, Val won’t be joining the lesson program, he’s being carefully developed as my next competition partner. His training journey is only just beginning, but his talent and attitude make it clear that big goals lie ahead for him in the eventing arena.

Fun Fact: Val already loves to show off his big stride in the paddock and has a playful, cheeky side, he often struts around like he knows he’s destined for greatness!

Meet Picasso

Picasso is our much-loved main lesson pony and a true favourite with riders of all ages. He is incredibly beginner-friendly and kid-safe, making him the perfect partner for those just starting their riding journey or building confidence in the saddle.

Calm, patient, and reliable, Picasso takes great care of his riders and is especially gentle with children. Whether it’s a first ride, a nervous rider, or a fun lesson learning the basics, Picasso is always happy to help and never in a rush.

If you’re looking for a pony who makes learning to ride feel safe, fun, and enjoyable, Picasso is your guy.

Fun fact: Picasso is known for his super steady walk and calm nature—he’s the kind of pony who looks after his rider just as much as they look after him!

Meet Tonka Aka Tonka Toy

Tonka has a special story, his dam was a wild Kaimanawa mare that I trained, and only a few months later she surprised us by giving birth to him. Now rising 4, Tonka has grown into a striking young horse with a kind eye and a curious nature. He is currently in the process of being started under saddle and already shows plenty of promise for the future.

The plan for Tonka is an exciting one: he will go on to be my daughter’s competitive mount, as well as joining the lesson program once he’s ready. With his unique background, intelligence, and gentle spirit, Tonka is set to become a much-loved part of our riding family.

Fun Fact: Tonka is a playful character who loves attention and will happily follow you around the paddock looking for scratches.
